Welcome to Nurse SHIFT Change Movement

Nurses Shift Change Movement – Patients Over Politics. Nurses Advocating for Patients.

One day, everyone will be a patient. One day, everyone will need a nurse.

When that day comes, will healthcare be accessible? Will there be enough nurses and healthcare workers to care for you?

Right now, we are advancing efforts to protect both patients and the healthcare profession. A strong healthcare workforce means better care, healthier communities, and a system that truly serves everyone.

Stand with nurses. Advocate for patients.

Patients Over Politics: Nurses Advocating for Patients

To unite and empower nurses to drive meaningful healthcare reform, ensure equitable access to care, and advocate for a system that prioritizes people over politics., we stand together for human dignity, advocacy, and justice in healthcare.

About Us (S.B.A.R.)

Our Story: We are a collective of nurses, healthcare professionals, and allies dedicated to a simple but powerful idea: healthcare is a human right. The United Party of Nursing (UPoN) was founded as a grassroots movement to amplify the voices of nurses and advocate for policies that put patients over politics.

What started as a small group of frontline nurses has grown into a nationwide movement, mobilizing nurses and healthcare professionals across the country to demand systemic change, uphold ethical nursing practices, and champion social justice in healthcare.

Mission & Vision: To unite and empower nurses to drive meaningful healthcare reform, ensure equitable access to care, and advocate for a system that prioritizes people over politics., we stand together for human dignity, advocacy, and justice in healthcare.

Core Values: Our core leadership team is made up of dedicated nurses and advocates, and is supported by an expanding network of volunteers and partners committed to advocating for patient over politics.
